While this is more a location than a place, it's a great area to send out of town friends to. There are a lot of cool little restaurants in there.
Trendy restaurant in the heart of the Mission. Happy hour and fine dinning combine for an eclectic crowd of business suits and skinny jeans.
Love the shaking beef
All the best sushi in the hayes valley
Almost as good as O-Torro but a little cheaper.
The fish is so fresh it's like it jump straight from the sea to my place
Only sushi place I ever get hand roles. There is a reason why.
Dive bar. get exactly what you expect. Fun for those drink alone nights.
Every kind of beer you could ever want. Love to watch soccer here. Food isn't too bad either
Walking distance for me which is the reason I go here. Great place for me to meet up with people and usually where I recommend.
Great national brew house but with a micro brew atmosphere
Right on the corner of my street. I want to go here every day.
This place was started by Nick from Nick's crispy taco after he ventured out on his own. It's in the marina and the people watching is just as good as the food. Get it Nicks way.
This is the home of the irish coffee here in San Francisco. It's in fisherman's ward right after you get off the trolly.
Your going to be at fisherman's warf so wherever you go will be touristy. This at least is authentic SF. Get the clam chowder in the bread bowl.
This is a noodle place in Japan town. You can't go wrong. Ramen, Udon all good.
There's this thing called Wappa there. It's a rice bowl cooked in a wooden box with veggie's or meat. It's on the pricy side but worth trying.
Your probably going to wait in line but it's authentic north beach Italian pizza.
China town eats. Know for their Peking Duck and Salt and Pepper Crab. There's a lot of Chinese food in China town but this place is clean and has enough authenticity to it without questioning what it is on your plate.
Late night china town place. Very weird but thats part of the charm.
This is the sister restaurant to Burma Superstar but it is nothing like Burma Superstar. It's much more California fusion with the best fish I have eaten in SF.
I want to go here
I need to go here
For a very nice and fancy place it's very well priced. They have an early bird (5:30) pre-fixed menu
President Clinton likes coming here when he is in town. Top chef, great ambiance and trendy location.
If you're trying to impress this is the place you want to go. Sit at the bar so you can see the bartenders making the drinks. The drinks take a long time but it's worth every minute waiting.
If you're looking for a brunch place to celebrate a graduation, a birthday or an anniversary then go here. Very high class, very fancy, very fun.
